An ethnic group chained to the past, surrounded by the modern world.

Eventually, people bend.

Their morals are sound. Their beliefs are deep.

I respect people like this so much, I can't begin to describe. They are solid. Things that aren't material mean so much to them.

Maybe a few of you will say I have crossed lines by taking photos of Amish people.

Let me first tell you that I did not go out seeking to take photos of them.

Let me also explian that these are Amish people working in a downtown city market. Not exactly what I'd call orthodox Amish.

Lastly, I would like to tell you, for your own peace of mind that I did not offend anyone that I shot. I was respctful, and not invasive.

If you don't like it, please just move on.
