I find it to be an odd sight to see in this city.
A city which is pretty dirty by most standards. Not everywhere, but even the nicer parts of downtown have what seems to be a grungy film coat feeling.
So to see someone scrubbing subway steps, which I've never seen anyone do before (but I'm sure it's done periodically) much less scrubbing anything else in this city, is just a bit unusual to see.

You know, I've never actually seen a stairway being scrubbed with soap like that. Swept, yes, but no suds ;P. It's made all the more interesting to look at with the overhead view.

Love how from the thumbnail, the steps look almost like marble. So many different textures.

You don't see it because you don't live in the city.
