Dedication
I want to dedicate this photo to all the people at Deerfield High, AP photo class. A reliable source (Erin) tells me some of you follow my work, and this is a sort of loving one finger salute to you all!
Get out, make photos, be everywhere at once. If you don't, it will always be the photo you didn't take that will be the greatest photo you never knew about. In other words. Go make some photos. Worry about the rest later.
I'm submitting a street shot which I took with my digital rebel (ultra sexy 300D outdated body. Note, the 300 is a higher number than 20D or 30D, even 5D. This means it's better, third best to be exact. Second highest is 350D and first is 400D. Not too shabby. Sarcasm is stupid.) NOT TO MENTION, I actually converted it to BW, because I know how much it jerks some of your chains, but not really, only because I wanted to. To all the haters: Fuck that. It's photo I like. Yes.
I was actually just getting started after finding a parking spot (took about a half hour) and meeting up with some people. I was gearing up and getting all the settings in order. As I was fooling around with the camera I saw this guy walk by from the corner of my eye as the camera was up to my eye, and with intentions of capturing him, I waited till he walked into my frame. Then I saw it. The one finger salute. High in the air over his shoulder, clearly directed towards me. to most people this may be offensive, but I grinned and silently thanked him for the awesome photo.
Then I turned to the people I was with and said, "Holy shit, that was awesome!"
Oblivious to what happened they queried what I was talking about. So I whipped out my awesome digital camera and put it in playback mode. Instant photos. I'm so technologically advanced, it amazes me. I can't believe I bought into that whole film thing. I will only shoot digital from now on. Always. Period. Throw a ;wackel in there for good measure

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This is YOUR opportunity to mock, ridicule and generally take great delight and amusement whilst poking fun at the beloved Volunteers and Staff of deviantART.
