He was crying? That's so sad. It really does make you wonder what he must have been/went through. And he's so... in the zone. I mean, he's the only one there. No one else is around him. What I'm trying to say is, is that he'd probably do what he was doing in that photo even if there were people bustling about. Did he even notice you taking a picture of him?

Yeah, but... anyhoo, it's a great shot. It represents and shows a lot (of emotion, especially).

I wish I could see the person a little closer, though. It would've taken me a long ass time to figure out he was saluting from the distance you shot it at. It's almost as if he's shielding his eyes, you know?

But, still, I'm slow; I don't realize the things around him and the stance he's in to come up with the fact that he's actually saluting.

now you are using your brain. One problem I see with it. The man is saluting. Saluting what we dont know, the artist has to tell us. Next time I suggest making it clear to the viewer.
